About Me

Mark has had a passion for filmmaking from a young age. While excelling in video editing, he is also well-versed in all parts of the production process. As an editor he understands the importance of pre-production planning, saving time and money by getting things right the first time.

A graduate of Madonna University, Mark Radwan received his Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast and Cinema Arts, graduated with high honors, and was awarded the Ernest I. Nolan Award for outstanding achievement in his major. He gained both a wealth of knowledge and years of hands-on experience from Madonna University's Film and Television program.

His production credits range from a television studio setting, to off-campus commercial and music video sets. While still in college, Mark had worked on everything from American Sign Language music videos to long-running broadcast television shows such as "Lumen Cristi" and "Celebrate Michigan." Additionally, Mark worked as a TV Studio Intern within the "BCA" department. This gave him further experience working in a live Studio setting, prepping the lights, audio, video, teleprompter, and graphics for the weekly show "Celebrate Michigan." While honing his craft as an editor, he also developed a passion for lighting and all things G&E. However, Mark is comfortable stepping into any role on set as needed.

He currently works at the video production company Highway Media, as Senior Editor and D.P. He is in charge of organizing and editing every project that comes in the door. He works on nearly every shoot, particularly in the filming and lighting aspects. Some of these high-profile projects include highlight videos for the Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, and New York Mets Baseball Fantasy Camps. He has also worked as Gaffer and Assistant Editor on two feature-length documentaries: one about the city of Plymouth, MI, and the upcoming documentary "A Salute to Our WWII Generation: Let Us Not Forget."

Mark has also worked as a camera operator for many years with 828 Studios, filming various figure skating showcases and competitions such as "Skate Detroit" and "Michigan Showcase." In addition to filming, he also will often capture each performance as individual video clips in Black Magic Media Express for easier viewing and delivery.

Mark is also expanding his work to his own freelance projects, such as a promotional piece for the Michigan Science Center's Volunteer Program and several short films. While many of his classmates and colleagues have left the state for production work, Mark is determined to stay in Michigan to pursue his own film career.
